Crafts Cove Marine is a reseller of other supplier's products. We do not have a specific warranty above those of our suppliers. We will do our very best to ensure that you are treated fairly and that you have a positive experience but we rely on our suppliers to provide warranty processing and handling.
The following sections contain copies of our supplier warranties. The supplier's own documentation is considered the definitive source for up to date warranty information.
Spade Anchor Warranty
SPADE ANCHOR GUARANTEE
LIMITED GUARANTEE :
The SEA TECH & FUN sarl Company hereby warrants the SPADE anchor against breakage that may occur to any part of the anchor.
The SEA TECH & FUN sarl Company will replace the defective anchor free of charge, subject to the following conditions:
· The anchor has been correctly selected in relation to the length and displacement of the vessel (see our leaflet)
· The anchor has not been modified, drilled or repaired in any way
· Damage by deformation or bending is not covered by the guarantee
· The galvanization of the steel version must be kept in right order
· The anchor has not been abused, misused or improperly taken care of.
· The anchor has been used following admitted anchoring practice
· The anchor did not suffer from an abnormal strength in particular to kick it away of an obstacle
The anchor must be sent back, ONLY AFTER AGREEMENT with the SEA TECH & FUN sarl Company, with a Return Merchandise Authorization number, a copy of the original invoice and a picture of the defective anchor.
The shipping costs in both directions are at the charge of the customer and are not covered by the guarantee.
Under no circumstances, The SEA TECH & FUN sarl Company can be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental or consequential damage from the sales or use the anchor.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED – FULL REFUND WITHIN 6 MONTHS : The SPADE Customer may return his anchor to the manufacturer for a period of Six months from the date of original purchase accompanied by the original invoice, if he is not fully satisfied for ANY REASON. Shipping cost is not covered by this warranty. Holding is in direct relation to the surface area (Sq cm),
Weight is only given as an indication and is not contractual
Warranty Claim Process
Purchaser must follow the warranty claim process to make a warranty claim. If Purchaser does not submit the claim properly, the warranty is void. Purchaser must take the following steps:
- Contact a Torqeedo Service Center by phone, email or mail. You can find a list of our Service Centers on our website under the service center section.
- To submit a warranty claim and to process a warranty, we require a completed warranty certificate as well as proof of purchase.
- The warranty certificate can be found in the instruction manual. It must include Purchaser’s contact details, product details, serial number, and a brief description of the problem.
- Proof of purchase must indicate the Product purchased and the date of purchase (e.g. transaction receipt).
- For returning the motor to the Service Center, we recommend keeping the original Torqeedo packaging. If this is no longer available, packaging that protects against transport damage must be used. The warranty excludes any damage caused during transport.
- NOTE: If the shipment includes a LIMA battery:
A LIMA battery is classed as a UN9 hazardous item. If the Product includes a LIMA battery (either by itself or with the motor), posting and packaging must be in accordance with the relevant safety guidelines.
